I want to contact this girl I went to school with. We're both 30 now, so we haven't talked or anything in 12 years.
Why do I want to contact her? because I just realised we have something in common (vidya and anime stuff in general) and of course she's cute.
I need advice on what to write in the contact message. I'm completely blank, all I can think of is "Hi, I just noticed you like the stuff I do too" and it's retarded as fuck.

Then contact her by whatever social media you used to deduce her interests, Sherlock. Also, she won't be charmed by you immediately pointing out that you have compared her interests to yours without having talked to her first. You have to work up to actually exchanging ideas before you are able to elaborate on them.

You can take all the time you want on Facebook messenger, and it won't be as weird as a random email. Seriously, I've added a ton of people on facebook from highschool I barely talked to because why not. It's gonna be the least creepy way to reach out to her, and the easiest way to ring in the new millenia for you.
