Not much of a hobby but more of a lifestyle.

You don't necessarily need to join the Fraternity but can just attend Guest evenings where there is usually discussion on philosophical topics.

Its a really nice thing to do imho

Learn a language. Forces you to converse/write with others if you want to get any good at all. Not niche unless you pick something weird like Urdu.
