I'm an introverted person. My friends want me to hang out with them all the time, and I'm happy to hang out with them sometimes but after a long week of work I really need a day to myself just to feel okay. I don't want to make excuses every time I just want to do my own things. What can I say that they'll understand? I just lied to them that I have to work tomorrow and I feel really bad about it.

Why not? I assume you work a set schedule so if you always want to veg out on the weekends what's going to change? Why should they keep wanting you to come out when you're never going to want to because you're always tired from the week?
