I'm buying glasses for myself for the first time in my life (currently 20, parents always bought them in the past).
Anything I should know before I proceed? I consider this a big purchase. I was hoping to get some RayBan frames or an equally as stylish brand

No one gives a shit about the frames your glasses are using. Buy something that is comfortable and fits on your face properly and isn't too flimsy.

i kinda meant advice for buying glasses, not what frames I should get. I just mentioned the frames because I like Rayban

Thanks!
Now excuse me while I drain all my snake's venom. It's been feeling feisty lately.

Jesus
Just go the the store, it's their job to get you out of the place with suitable glasses

GOOD GOD, STOP, I CAN ONLY UNLEASH SO MUCH VENOM!
Get them online somewhere like eyebuydirect or Walmart, not an eyeglass store. You're going to get ripped off in one of those. Frames and fully upgraded thin lens for $100 online compared to $300-500 in a store.
