Nursing (university) vs. Electrician?
What do I do /adv/?
I have the grades for a 4 year nursing degree or I can get on as an electrician with the family business as soon as I want.

Do whichever you would be happier with

Okay but how about earnings wise? Where can I make more money.

electrician probably makes more money . i'm sure it would be nicer as a job as well to drive around to different people's houses and sort their shit out rather than be in a hospital all the time
4 years university will cost tens of thousands too . unless you are dead set on becoming a nurse i'd go with being an electrician . even if you get tired of working with your family you can start your own business doing electrical jobs when you know you are good enough

electrician makes more money and MOST LIKELY is less stressful
nursing may give you a greater sense of fulfillment

Hey, ex-nurse aide(male) here. I recently stopped working as a nurse aide this year because of my experience with nurses. It started out great and was very fulfilling at first, but as time went by I started seeing nurses (especially veteran nurses) take shortcuts, become depressed, stab eachother in the back, and straight up ignore patients. It bur ed the living hell out of me and made me realize I DON'T want anything to do with healthcare. So I'm current earning a computer-science degree a community college.
tl;dr : Be VERY fuming careful about healthcare jobs, there's a reason nurses are always "In demand"

this. ex male nurse too here.
I work for good will now and literally sort through people's junk they don't want
I'm way happier now and would rather do this shit and I get paid jack shit in comparison
nursing pay looks good on paper but overall just isn't worth it to me.
are you the same dude from the other day? if my family had a family business or trade I'd totally get in on that.

>Electrician
Both are great fields. Go with electrician and get familiar with micro controllers, circuit components, and digital systems.
