Might be moving to Minneapolis for a job opportunity soon. What's /adv/'s opinion of the city and also Minnesota in general? I'm kinda neutral about it right now, so if y'all wanna red pill or blue pill me about it, please do.

Be careful around the police. Your white skin won't save you there.
Also be prepared to get raped by somalis.

I've never been to Minnesota but I take calls for a Minnesota insurance company. People from Minnesota tend to be insanely polite and kind - it's actually called "Minnesota nice". From what they've told me, lots of snow and lots of cold for most of year.

What's the story with that? People always seem so nice there, are their police that big of assholes?

This bride from Australia was shot to death despite her making 911 call that she thought an intruder was in her house. Happened last week.

As someone who lived in Minneapolis for 20 years here's my advice. Make sure you wear layers during the winter, the city is pretty small but the music scene is amazing, watch out for traffic. The city does have a light rail and buses but there is always traffic on the major highways.

I miss the city but I couldn't stand the winters. I'm planning on visiting this thanksgiving though
