I don't know about that. I'd have trouble reading my own question yet I beat out 90% of the people in my country in final exams. I don't know if I have ADHD but there are people who even as adults you can just observe them and know they have adhd.

Add is just a way for doctors to make money for big pharma, don't fall for the scheme. It is not a coincidence ADD was not a thing until recently.

Yup. Bad idea. I speak from experience. I told my psychiatrist i tried adderall and how it worked so well for me. She said thats totally ok, thats its not uncommon at all for her other patients to have experimented and tried things, and that its totally understandable.

She then prescribed me strictly non-abusable forms of ADD meds and when they would make me vomit or feel like total ass, tell me i just need to try it for longer, or try another non-abusable med. That i need to fill out these gay little charts about my feelings and all this dumb shit. Id mention i already know what works because i already tried it, and she would deflect and say i need to try all these alternatives first and that i need to explore every other possibility first because "it would be best for your condition".

I came for adderall because it genuinely worked, and i stupidly told her that i knew it worked because i tried it. All she did was give me dogshit and drag things out so she could milk the living fuck out of me on payments and ask thinly veiled questions on whether im a scumbag junkie or not.

no I genuinely think I have ADHD. I beat out 90% of people in exams because I skipped school, spent 10 hours a day """studying""", skipping school and cutting off all contact with people for 9 months. Of course it's still gonna look bad going for an ADHD diagnosis when everyone thinks I'm smart and things come easy.

List of my symptoms:

pause a movie every 5 minutes
procrastination
can hold a conversation but can't focus on lectures or instructions, can't recall details even two sentences back etc.

I think my symptoms were hidden through being emotionally hypersensitive (hiding hyperactivity and bad behaviour) and average long term memory.

because it's 10 hours a day with probably 2 hours study put in there. I remember I'd sit for 4 hours studying, not get anything done and when my mom asked about the study I'd say "I did around 1 hour". I don't remember why I'd lie but that was how I'd study.

I don't know if I have ADHD or not, it'd just explain a lot of things. I'm not going to lie except about drug use since I'm not on anything atm.

It's incredibly easy to get prescribed Adderall or Ritalin, explain your symptoms to them and DO NOT MENTION either Adderall or Ritalin, at all. Pretend you've never heard of them. You might have to put up with a couple shitty prescriptions but keep complaining and you'll eventually get it.

With that being said modern psychiatry is a total joke and most drugs they give prescriptions for are both over diagnosed and harmful to your health in the long term. Based on your description you are high functioning and I would really recommend living your life drug free.
