"Professional" in a field which relies on word of mouth. Dropped a contract with a regular counterpart, am now early 30s and completely unable to document my life since high school - also dealing with retaliation to the point where I still don't have tax papers from last year. All my friends are either ex-coworkers all in on the old boss hoping they'll eventually get paid what they're owed, or younger and less established people who can't solve my problems. Drinking and smoking to escape the despair, but I've almost run out of booze money. How do I rebuild a life from nothing? My only professional history is >that shit and literally international organized crime.
