I've got a tight knit group of mates, there's 5 of us in total and we've all finished school and set to go to university in September. We all said we'd try and make the best summer we could before we went our separate ways. We're a month in and we must have only gone out all together 6 times.

Two of my mates, Jake and Tomas however refuse to come out with us. Jake got with a girl and is now completely obsessed with her and will not see us and will blow us off. Tomas just won't come out. When Jake isn't seeing his girlfriend of 2 weeks he's playing games for 13 hours a day - same as Tomas.

The only two reliable friends are Nick and Callum.

What's the best way to tell the former two to nut up and come out. Whenever I say I can't make an outing I get absolutely ridiculed and still get mocked for not coming out a certain time TWO YEARS AGO.

I'm on my wit's edge. Tomas says we're best of friends but won't see me. What do?

Try inviting Jake and his gf to go out with you and your posse somewhere and as for Thomas,maybe you can find out a place that he would enjoy going to,such as a concert of a band that he likes and spend some time with him.He'll eventually want to hang out more(I hope)
