How do i quit klonopin?

I've been taking 2mg/day for about 1.5 years. I tried to stop taking it for literally 2 days and felt like I was going to have a heart attack, everyone hated me, and everything was going wrong and I couldn't understand what anyone was even saying to me. So I ended up taking 0,5mg and went to bed : S


Has anyone gone through this? I feel like I'm in for a bad time : S
