Me, a 22 year old male (very) drunkenly got my left nipple pierced last night. I regret it a lot, and I would like to take it out sometime next week before my parents come to visit.
Am I safe to just remove it or will it get infected? Multiple online sources say I need to wait at least 3 months to take it out because it needs to heal and if it doesn't heal it will get infected. But the body shops I asked say I can take it out whenever I want basically.
I'm not looking to change my peircing, I literally just want to take it out and never look back.

Take it out, keep it clean. It's no different than any other cut.

Just leave it out and keep some neosporin, gauze pads and self-adhesing bandage wrapped around your chest (bandaids on the nerps is not okay). A trip to walgreens is in order.
Just keep a shirt on. Nobody needs to know.

I have both mine pierced. You can deffo take it out now as long as you keep it clean. It will heal really quickly as well because there's a strong blood supply to the area. I once took mine out and lost it, and it had closed up before I had a chance to buy a new one (within a few days) and this was having had it for years. Got it redone ofc.
I would mention that there are perks to keeping it- i.e.the increased erogenous sensitivity in the area. I can cum just by rubbing my nips these days.

The three months is so when you take it out it won't close up. They say wait three months before changing jewelry.
If you take it out now and keep it clean it will close up quickly like nothing happened.

Yeah, take that shit out. The 3 month wait is just if you DONT want it to close up.
