Hey guys, need some advice here. So I visit different customers homes on a daily basis. 1 gal, who is never home, relies on us using a house key to get into her home. Problem is, I lost it. She was not willing to accept that answer, so I tried picking her house today. Needless to say, without prior experience, I failed. Other than this specific incident, is there any advice for picking locks in the future that you guys can contribute? I attempted a snake rake after watching a YouTube video
Use the "s" shaped pick for home locks.
Train yourself on padlocks and cylinders.
Done.

Thanks
Takes alot of patience more than practice. Too much tension and the pins will seize. Not enough and the pins wont hold.
practice on a padlock. You can get clear practice padlocks for about $10. Maybe a little bit more.
