I'm having an issue with diarrhea. It started on Monday morning and is still going on. I constantly feel like food is not digesting properly, causing my stomach to slightly hurt, so I am compelled to sit in the bathroom for long periods of time. I am also scared of eating, because that will set it off. I am planning on scheduling a doctor's appointment if it doesn't go away by next week.
In the mean time, do you have any advice from personal experience for what I should do to get better? Possible causes are:
-glutten allergy (I've ruled dairy out because I don't have any, but gluten seems unlikely, because I've been eating it all my life.)
-anal sex (oil-based lube, which the college nurse says can cause bad reactions; an STI, though the latter is unlikely, because I've been with the same boyfriend for over a year and vaginal sex has never caused this; or just the effect of having something go in there that's not supposed to)
-irregular meals (I eat little while in class but come home to eat a bigger meal)
-middle school eating disorder (this might have fucked up my digestive system permanently, but it's never been as bad as this)
I am honestly a bit paranoid that I have either an STI or colon cancer. So please help.

Have you taken antibiotics recently?

Medfag here
Very poor description you gave, still the most likely problem is a simple infectious diarrhea that should get better in a few days

No

Well that's good. I was just worried because it has never lasted that long.

Is there any reason why someone should be worried that it's more than infectious diarrhea?

I'm a med student. Not unless there's severe pain.
It's likely not because of food you've eaten unless it was rotten. Oil assfucking isn't it either, you'd have inflamed ass and pain when shitting if it was a reaction, and it would have happened almost right away.
You probably just caught a normal stomach virus. Your doc will probably tell you to eat a light diet and drink a lot of fluids. If you don't have body pain it's likely nothing major.
