Work on a project car
Get a motorcycle
Working out is a really good hobby, probably one of the best imo.
Maybe go to a library and read a book or studying there.
Maybe volunteer in/for something you are interested in.

Learn a new language, play an instrument, workout, go on walks or for a run.

I usually go for a walk with a book or music prepared. Sometimes I even invite a friend or two to come along and chat.

Killing yourself.
Lifting weights, fucking Stacey, beat up incels.
Porn magazines, fuck working out or reading some gay shit about dead old farts. You can also go to a bar, get drunk, laid, and repeat. Not sure if these count as hobbies though. Buy drugs too anon.

I like to put in a good word for cooking as a hobby,
It nets you healthy food, creative satisfaction, and a heaping helping of praise from friends and family, especially if you're a young male.
Best hobby, desu.

Not him, but my area is also rather comfy. All you deal with are drunk bums that just roam everywhere.
The night's also the only time to beat the heat.

I wouldn't start with baking, honestly. If OP is a total cooking noob, then there's a few things they have to learn first, such as how to measure. And the issue with baking is that it's a pretty delicate chemical reaction that is easy to screw up if you don't have a basic knowledge of cooking. You could always start with a mix to get familiar first.
A good place to start is sauteeing. It's simple, it's fast, you only have to focus on the one thing, and it's hard to screw up. The only thing you can really do is cook it to the wrong temp, and it's easy to tell. Too cold, and it's cold. Too hot, and sauce will start to stick to the bottom of the pan. Just remove from heat for a bit and turn the burner down. Easy.
Pasta is also a good place to start, too. Remember to put salt in the water. Don't waste olive oil by pouring it into the water, it doesn't work and the oil is expensive. To keep pasta from sticking, simply stir it within the first minute after it enters the water.

OP, if you wanna check out cooking, look up cooking shows on youtube.

Also PROTIP:
If you are cooking with oil, and the oil starts smoking or catches fire, DO NOT put water on it. Absolutely do not ever. The water and the oil will refuse to mix and splatter and cause a huge explosion of flame. Pic related.
If you are cooking with oil and it catches fire, remove it from the heat and cover the pan with a lid or a plate. The fire will be smothered and put out.
