I'm currently a college student and am dependent on my parents. My parents are emotionally and mentally abusive, but their abuse has began to be too much for me recently. I failed 2/3 classes last quarter, because of my emotional state. I'd like to go to therapy, but my parents do not really believe in therapy. I would like to cut them completely out of my life, but I do not know how to do so. I'm considering just ending my own life, if I can't find any solution. So how do I cut my parents out of my life? Can I get a restraining order on them? How can I become completely independent in a short amount of time?
