If you want to meet "good people", just go spend time outside doing something productive. Take classes or find a job. Try to get yourself into a social circle over there which suits you.

I'm a good person, and keep to myself. Only a handful of friends that I see once every couple of weeks. Wife that I love.

I don't need people, although I help plenty of strangers without ever leaving my home. I just work my 3rd shift job, and relax at home, with rare exception. I imagine most "good people" are the same.
