Hey, /adv/. Was in the middle of cutting onions for dinner when my stomach started hurting; weirdly, it wasn't a digestional thing. I started feeling wobbly and couldn't speak at all. Tunnel vision ensued. My left ear started ringing. I began dripping sweat. After a while, I could speak again and began trying to explain what had just happened to my boyfriend. However, I lost control of my face/voice shortly into my first sentence and, from what he tells me, I began slurring my words. My left eye felt like static suddenly, and I burst into tears I couldn't control despite not being sad at all.
So yeah, right? Fuck steak dinner night I guess. Was this a stroke?

Do you take any medications?
If you recovered then it wasn't a stroke, however it may have been a tia, which is similar to a stroke. Regardless I recommend your bf drives you to a hospital. If you don't do that see your doctor asap.

My head feels foggy and I'm not necessarily confident in my speech yet but that's also just me in general. A few waves of nausea happened but they went fast. My left hand is slightly tingling but parts of my body go completely numb out of nowhere all the time.
