Oh yeah, sure, looks play a part - but there are plenty of worthless pretty sluts. I've got nothing against pretty/hot girls doing whatever they want - they did well with the genetic lottery and make use of it, that's life - but most can't resist the temptation to coast on their looks.

The real high value women are not only hot, but take care of themselves physically, mentally, financially and you will never be able to keep up unless you can step it up in all aspects of your life (and not just the money/career part).

I like how my GF looks, and she is my type (redhead, introverted, slim, young) but she is not the most beautiful girl I ever had but she is at least as smart as I am, is ok with a prenub, gets a decent education, is politically of similar opinions, wants to help me achieve the goals I set in life and has similar thoughts about having and raising children.

If you date a 10/10, you ruin her body with pregnancy, you are not the best option she has and unless you are obscenely rich, you can not afford keeping her with all those traveling invitations she gets etc.
