How do you find a psychiatrist fast without having to admit yourself into a hospital stay?

I've contacted at least 7 today and the earliest appointments are in October. No wonder so many people commit suicide. Help isn't easily accessible at all.

Any RN can renew a prescription for meds already on your history. Stop wasting your time looking for a doctor and nab the first available appointment with anyone.

My doc has a six month waiting list on appointments but I can call and get a visit with an RN in an hour.

So do they have the history available when you go automatically? I thought there was some law against it.
