Should I skip work?
I work in a Big 4. Today starts a mandatory seminary that lasts 2 weeks. I had to do some mandatory online courses before.
Long story short, I didn't do them, something irrelevant happened, the point is I didn't do them. Today I could finish them.
Should I call in sick and finish them today, and go tomorrow to the course?
Should I go today to the seminary, even if I didn't do the mandatory courses and face humiliation?
Yep

Yep what, could you be more elaborate?

I would call in sick and then get started asap on that work you neglected.
They probably clock in when u complete the online work, anyway. If it lasts 2 weeks though it might be worth it. Depends on if you boss is the type who keeps tabs like that. If not I'd say go for it.
Quick q back: how does one get a job at the big 4? I'd kill a man if needed.

How do you work in a major financial firm and not know the difference between seminary and a seminar?

>They probably clock in when u complete the online work, anyway.
Yes, they will be able to.
I am stuck between
>"hey I haven't finished my shit, but I still came to the seminary"
Worst case scenario would be me getting kicked out in front of multiple people from different countries.
or
>"yesterday I was sick, yesterday I finished my shit"
Worst case scenario would be they calling me out or keeping tabs on me.

English isn't my main language obviously.
You just made me google seminar vs seminary, thanks.

I'd say skip and tell them u couldn't complete it earlier due to being sick. I think saving face is more important than getting a talking to If you get a talking to.
