I wouldn't buy bitcoins, honestly. If you're just looking to hedge inflation, you buy gold or silver. But you should only buy all these things after you've purchased other shit to protect you against hyper inflation (lighters are more valuable than gold when trading in a hyperinflated economy, for example). Emergency rations, guns, and ammunition are also needed far more than digital currency or precious metals.
