You could have put ice on it or run cold water over it just after the burn to cut down on inflammation which causes blisters. While you're buying bandaids, buy some "burn cream." It's called that because that's what it's for. Try not to rub the wound against anything for the next few days, because friction will irritate it. If any blisters form, do not pop them prematurely. Keep them moisturized and they will drain when they are ready. After the blisters drain, carefully remove the excess blister skin and put neosporin on the area until it is healed. In two or three weeks, you (probably) won't have any damage except for the memories.

Cold compress, liberal apply of aloe, advil, and, a pull of whisky.

It sucks. Sleep it off. The pain won't be as bad in the morning. Don't use a bandage, let it breathe.

Edit edit: sorry that I missed in your OP that you did something about it. This is such a minor burn that I overlooked all that. I apologize for my callousness. You did what you could. Just keep it moisturized with triple antibiotic and in a few days you won't even know it was there.

Yeah anon. All I see in your hand pics is a hand. It's kinda extra shiny on some parts? Maybe a lil more red than normal? Not to downplay your concern, but realistically, this is a very minor burn that probably won't even blister. That you ran it under cool water will cut a lot of the inflammation, and keeping it moisturized will allow the tissue to repair itself in short order.

Some redness has started to appear almost two hours later.

Sorry you burned your hand. I know it's uncomfortable but that's a very minor burn, you shouldn't worry. Don't bandage it- it needs to breathe.
