WINE PROS
ive happened across a bottle of wine,
bottled in 1982, so approx 34-35 years old
Is there a way i'm supposed to filter this out when i open it so i dont catch anything bad? And how should I store it in case I don't drink the whole thing?
bump
idk what i expect from 4chan but its kind of serious as I want to drink it now

if it hasnt been stored properly it might have turned into vinegar by now. might not taste good at all. but either way it wont make you sick or anything. alcohol kills bacteria and stuff so you will fine. aged wine is held with high regard if taken care of properly. just keep that in mind so if its really sour you dont think you're being poisoned. as for storing after you open it. not much hope there once you open it the clock is ticking. you dont have to drink it in one day or anything bu i wouldnt keep it around for another 6 months in the fridge. but even if you did not much would happen as long as you put a cork back in it.
my father use to run a winery but its been a while so i might not be correct but im pretty sure.
Wine from the 1800s is still drinkable if it was taken care of.
I mean I know you're not drinking Madeira or Chateauneuf but it's probably fine.
Don't jostle it too much or you'll get a glass full of sediment which tastes like giving a blowjob to one of the California Raisins.
Also you can try smelling the cork, if it smells like dirty socks or wet cardboard the wine is probably going to taste like ass. Smell the wine too, obvs.
I know some bougie faggot is gonna come yell at me for saying that, but I don't care, eat my entire ass.

Wine is traditionally stored in cellars.
