Tomoko is my waifu and I'm really only posting her to distinguish myself easily as OP. Ironically though, being that she's basically a social retard in a setting where interaction with peers is easy and abundant, she's basically the exact opposite of me in my current situation, ironically. Sadly, she's probably the type of girl I'd go for the hardest to be my gf if I ever met someone who acted like her in real life.
I would say I'm a little shy in actually initiating contact with others, but when I actually do talk to others, I'm almost a chad in how seamlessly I interact. People like being around me once they know me, since I'm confident in myself, smart, and I've got a bit of a golden tongue apparently.
I'm trying to find where I can meet friends since I don't have any from when I was in highschool a few months ago; I didn't have many friends while I was there, and everyone I did talk to has either gone off to college or they've simply nope'd out of existence. I can't go off to college yet because I have no money, no scholarships, and I don't know what I want to do yet. I don't think it'd be sound financially to go off to college when I don't know what I'm doing, even if it would be an easy solution to meeting people.
My whole family is relatively poor, I live with my parents, ad while I do work, I don't get much money. I don't have a car and jobs are scarce where I live, so in that way I feel like I'm in a rut. I really want to start hitting the gym, but the local YMCA is hours away by foot.
