>dont want to wear glasses anymore
>get contacts
>can't put them in my eyes because I blink no matter what
Anyone got any tips? I've watched 15 or so YouTube videos, several google searches and not much has seemed to help. Its most likely a mental expectation of poking or hurting my eye but how does one stop that?

Didn't you have to go to an optometrist to get them in the first place? Go back there and they'll work ya through it.

You've tried holding onto your eyelids with one hand, and placing it in with the other?
I've been wearing contacts for years and the one piece of advice I can give you is: be a little more aggressive. Eyeballs are tougher than you think.
(um don't go and poke your fucking eye out just because I said that tho)
make sure your fingers aren't wet with the contact solution when you're spreading your eyelids
don't be a pussy about spreading your eyelids. be aggressive.
after you put them in correctly for the 3rd time it becomes easy

Yes
Top eyelid with one hand, bottom of eye with other hand with contact on middle finger of the hand thats holding the bottom of my eye
I've tried that but still blink
contacts are unpleasant for me to put in too, and no matter the brand, they irritate me for every minute they're on my eyes. I only wear them for special occasions.
My advice is to lean your head back and stare at the ceiling. Then, with your dominat hand grab the top eyelash of the eye you want to put the contact into and pull up. With your other hand, put the contact on your index finger, and then with your middle finger, pull your lower eyelid down. Then, lightly touch your eye with the index finger and while your finger is still lightly touching on your eyeball, look to around to get the contact off your finger and on your eye. If I don't do this, the contact sticks to my finger or falls out after I blink. Good luck and don't get frustrated, you just need to overcome your reflexes, by retraining them -- this will take time.
