You see, the biggest problem with people cheating isn't the cheating itself, it's the trust issues afterwards that almost always ruin the relationship.

I can tell that you genuinely still trust her as a person, so in my opinion, you two do have a fighting chance. However, she will need to lay off the heavy drinking no matter what.

Also, if you are serious about forgiving her, then do so ENTIRELY. Don't ever hold it against her or pull the "Yeah but you cheated on me, remember?" in arguments, or it's over.

Agreed, I actually forgave my first bf after he cheated on me. The whole dynamic of the relationship changed, and I was fucking suspicious and paranoid af all the time. And even when I did forgive him i still held lot of grudges =/. and that shit is not easy to overcome. It didn't really feel great :|. OH and he ended up cheating on me again.

But by the sound of it she does sound pretty genuine. If you think shes worth it, I say go for it. But i'm letting you know now, if you do forgive her and try to get back together. I don't understand your logic OP but I understand why you are twisting what happened in your mind so you can accept what she did.

You believe its a plus your girl told you she sucked another guys dick while to me the dick in mouth thing is more of a negative than her telling you she did it. Whatever makes you happy and can allow you to sleep soundly.

if you stay with her she'll subconsciously know that you won't do anything if she cheats and see it as no big deal, just leave.
