How do I force myself to eat vegetables? Since young I was always a super picky eater and feel like throwing up when trying to consume any greens. I want to improve my health/diet but the only fruit I can eat without triggering my gag reflex are apples.

I try to do that but I end up taking forever to chew and get it down, and end up losing appetite to eat. I think once I took an hour for some braised vegetables.

experiment with less run of the mill fruits and veggies. a lot of us grew up on really basic veg and fruit and dont realize just how much there is out there. go to the groccery store and buy one of everything you havent tried yet. then tlook up some basic recipes or eat it fresh and see what you get.
if you still dcant handle it then therapy might be your own option, but in some cases its not psychological you just truly hate fruit and veg. in whichc ase your best bet is to ismply eat a lot of vitamins and to just monitor your general diet so you dont go overboard with red meats, pastas, and sweets.
Literally shove it down your throat. Don't even look at it, try to get it's taste, don't smell eat. Just swallow it.
With time it'll get easier. (It's how I learned I actually LOVE eggplant, spinach and many more)
