Sad to say I got suspended after my first year. During my first semester I fucked around mainly because I didn't really care about uni, then I decided I wanted to be an English teacher and buckled down for my second semester. I did much better than my first semester but it still haunted me, enough to get me suspended.

My first semester I had 4 classes and a lab, I got F in two of them and the lab, D in 2, and C in the last one. While not the most significant improvement this semester I had 4 classes and got B, C, D, and F (although technically this F is supposed to be a D but the prof says she can't do anything about it anymore). I did improve somewhat but not enough, I guess.

OP, sort yourself out this year. Get a job and learn to be dependable and timely. If you need to move home, talk to your landlord about getting out of your lease, but you're better off learning to function independently without your parents hovering and helping. Download some self-improvement books and learn how to set boundaries for yourself and schedule your life. Get organized

Where I'm at D is a passing grade as long as its not a concentration course, which in my case they weren't. I also think I'm not cut out for university I'm just doing it to please my parents, I decided on being an English teacher because of the whole JET thing but I dont think I'm gonna make it.

I agree with what you say, I do need to mature a lot but I might not return to university. It was a lot of fun and I learned a lot but I just think I might be getting kicked out every year. Honestly, the biggest thing undergrads don't get is how to schedule a day. Build good habits, have a set wake-up time (like 5 AM) and an uncomfortably early bedtime (9PM?). Eat meals at the exact same time every day. Schedule your day every day, review it when you wale up, set achievable goals and keep achieving them day after day. Learn responsibility.
