Entering 12th grade, not underage.
I have no idea what to study after this, I have consulted my parents, their friends, my older friends. I am at the top of my class, honor roll every year.

I don't want to study some meme field like IT, Economics, Psychology and etc.
I know that Law relies on connection and it's ''dirty'' aka immoral in some instances.

I am interested in medicine but I think that I will absolutely fail the entry exams and won't have time to prepare if I've studied just a year for them.

I want to do something that will at every point in my life feel fulfilling. I don't want to look back and be able to say ''I could do something more useful''

How did you decide what to study? Any tips?

you can always take a year off and work. then make your mind up theres no rush.

Trial and error will determine your career or even if you attend college. Just go into a general field of interest. If you like science and law go to a state university. You can always transfer later if you don't like the school.

You're panicking for no reason, play by year and take life as it comes. Not everything always goes to plan.

Please listen to this. Don't go to college straight away especially if you don't know what to study

Engineering. It gives you a solid foundation and is generalist enough to remain flexible at least at the beginning. Like, you can work in basically any quant field after your study.

Agreed, don't rush man. Take some time to travel and get your feet wet in the working world, absorb everything by asking questions. Analyze by putting yourself in a career mans shoes. Nursing sounded cool when I first got interested, but then I had to think about attachment issues, death, blood, disease, fear of failure. Took a short minute but I decided it's better than working at the casino the rest of my life like those 40 yr/o no-names.

Got pressured into my first year of college straight out of highschool, also a smart lad like yourself. Parents kind of forced me into it, I ended up selling drugs and dropping out. Took some time to recuperate... I have a straight A average now, man I wish I had just taken some time to find myself. I would probably be a doctor already.

Goodluck man, life is a game so don't stress.

I don't think I can ''waste'' time by taking time.
I really want to do something as fast as possible, don't want to be useless.

How can I even be sure that me wanting to study medicine is not just a ''phase'' I'm in?
I had a cognitive psychology phase, I had a law phase...how do people decide stuff? School didn't prepare me for this? What if I realize that I wasted a year of my life studying something I'm not interested in?

I am absolutely SURE however that I don't want to touch IT, anything with mathematics, no economics, no finances, something prestigious - not psychology, I am not too sure about law and journalism, but medicine sounds AMAZING...I just think that I should have started the bio and chem lessons in 11th grade and that I am late for the party.

Spend a year as an EMT. Try medicine at the worst and see if you want to stick with it
>>
If you are intelligent enough or have the work ethic you would know medicine or other hard science or field is what you want to study, it seems you have neither.

Economics is not a meme field, it's only the undergrads that make it seem that way

there not phases anon there all subjectively good careers. There is no ONE job that will satisfy you, people have many good choices all you have to do is pick one and don't look back. You can be good in all three. Don't bog your self down with the what if. That doesn't matter. If all you do is doubt what decisions you make then you're never going to have a resolve. write down all the different careers you want to go into to. Look at them and let your body tell you. Listen to your instincts mate.

Research the industry you're interested in and find if there are a decent amount of positions available in areas you like that you can realistically obtain after you graduate with x qualification.
