/adv/, recently I've started finding porn pretty distressing. It alters my mindset for the days following the episode also, making me much more socially anxious and generally a weirdo but although it is distressing, it is also enjoyable. In a strange way i enjoy watching it but its effecting my relationships and every aspect of my life. Does anyone else experience this?

Excessive porn watching fucks up with the parts of your brain which are considered to be detrimental for a motivation. All those reward centers get fucked up as well.
Basically, your brain doesn't recognize the diference between those lewd videos and the real thing, therefore judging like you are the alpha dog, fucking all those beautiful women in one evening. And thus affecting your motivation to do anything. Remember, your brain thinks you already achieved our natural reason to exist and now it's "helping" you to chill out, women-related.

If you don't like how you feel after watching porn, stop watching porn. Your father and grandfather didn't. Have the internet or its porn and they ended up just fine.
