Should you wait to get your life in order before trying to start dating?
I live with my younger sis in a small apartment, the state of which bothers me, aka I wouldn't feel comfortable bringing someone here. The windows/doors are old need replacing, needs to be repainted badly, is full of old & crappy furniture/appliances. I've been saving money to fix this but it's going to take at least a year more. I also need money to fix my teeth. In the meantime I feel like all I do is work and sleep. I'd like to go out with a girl but these 2 issues make me insecure about it because I feel like it's going to inevitably be an issue. I also don't feel like it would be OK to spend money on clothes or a nice car when I haven't fixed these issues first. Should I just bear with it and do it when I feel "ready" or it's never going to be the right time?
