I am tired of being pale and I am going to sign up to go tanning. I plan on going once a week. I just don't have the time due to work to sit out and get some sun. I have a little color from working outside on the weekends, but I want to get darker. Any advice on how long I should sit in there for?

I am also a guy so I am a bit self-conscious going to go tanning.

I don't want to get burnt the first time going.

Don't. Pale skin is amazing and it looks great.
Tan is cheap as hell, we're not in the 80s anymore.

Go to the pool or do some lawn work without a shirt on. Either way, it's bad for you

I just don't have the time anymore due to work and I also coach. When I do the lawn work, I have my shirt off, but I still don't get enough. It also has been oddly overcast a lot compared to the past couple years
