Why is this on /adv/ though?

I'm here because the people here are more interesting than people irl most of the time, also this place wields power, also you never know who you're going to run into here.

irl just tends to be disappointing regardless of how much I have going on. this city is fucking dog shit.

4chan is the only website where I can write anything I want without my post being downvoted and where I can be 100% honest without ruining my reputation. I also enjoy the fact that everyone is on an equal playing field and only the content matters, not who says it. Zero social hierarchy plays or virtue signalling.

While browsing, I find the humor on 4chan to be the wittiest on the internet without those forced over-the-top multi-paragraph posts you would see on, say, Something Awful. I enjoy the complete randomness and trolling as well.

It's pure entertainment. Only visit /v/ /vr/ /pol/ and /adv/ though.

It's the only thing keeping me sane, all my friends have abandoned me and can't seem to get a gf for shit, but here is a good place
