>be me
>taught at young age that anger is bad
>been repressing it pretty much since childhood
>have rare outbursts caused my small trivial annoyances
>hold a lot of resentment towards my parents because they believed in corporal punishment and would hit me and my bro a lot as kids
>resentment continues to my late adolescence stage
>my parents start taking care of his two kids
>I occasionally babysit
>my older niec is nice but can be annoying you know like most kids
>one day I get really annoyed, scream at her like a madman, and push her down to the ground with my bare hands
>as she's crying I realize I've become more like my parents
>I think my anger is having a positive effect on her because a few weeks later I see her push her sister down onto the ground with a bit of force
how do I fix this and change my behavior around my nieces
