You invite them to do something you like and which you think they might enjoy.
It doesn't have to be coffee. You can go to a park, grab something to eat, go to the movies, do ice skating, play a sport, go to a museum, attend a party or whatever you like.
>do you simply to have a coffee or something?
what's this new thing on the internet with words entirely missing? I understand misspelling but increasingly I notice words just missing.like I'm reading this in a middle eastern accent for some reason.
is it foreigners? what's happening?

You are now talking to a guy that did all the wrong things possible to get the girl and still managed to have a healthy and caring relationship.
Moral of the story: don't do stupid shit, but if you do, do it from the heart.

Welcome to the new world, strap in bro.
The only acceptable thing to do is take them back to your room and have sex, or their room.
It's university so hopefully you have some nice restaurants and things around the campus. Go to a cosy Italian and get pizza and chips or something. Not because of any weird date culture, just because that's usually the chillest place to be at 11pm-2am on a quiet night.
