So you want advice on getting advice?
Tony Robbins's Awaken the Giant Within helped get me through a very rough patch of my life. I realize his advertising is stereotypically late-80s TV infomercial tier but he's genuinely a VERY engaging speaker and has a way with words that make other self-help authors seem prosaic by comparison.
How to be a 3% man by Corey Wayne. It's all about working on yourself and your dating life. It even goes into maintaining a relationship.

READ THE DAMN BOOK 10-15 TIMES
It's kinda basic, but Stephen and his son Sean Covey write some damn good reference guides for life. The 7 habits books are nice, they give you 7 life strategies to implement and 7 to avoid. ('The Bible' is also like that but there's fuckin weird side effects)
