Girls are not turned off by poor guys, I know dirt poor guys with loving girlfriends. But by the way you phrased the question I don't think you should start dating, it sounds as if you just want to date someone (anyone).

If there's a specific girl you have your eye on, sure money shouldn't even be an issue, and if it is for her she's not worth shit. However if it's just dating random girls, get a job and a life loser.
