I got accepted to a prestigious masters degree in a foreign country, which would be huge opportunity for me.
>but
when I eventually leave, there will be nobody to take care of our family house and a chalet with a big apple orchard (I live with my mother in her sixties and my grandparents in their nineties).
Should I go for the opportunity abroad or stay here and take care of the senpai?
By persuing the Master's degree you will in time be better equipped to care for your family
Get the degree
Go get the degree first. It shouldn't take too long that when you came back everything you know and care for will die or gone, right?
That degree will also serve you better in time to help and care your family better with the opportunities it may bring.

If you dont do this, what else has better promise for granting you the financial means to maybe support your family and finance house maintenance? The orchard?

Go for it man. Is there no way you can get a friend of family member to check on your mom and grandparents while you're gone?
Just once a week should be enough. People in their 60s usually get on pretty well.
Allright guys, thanks. Will go for it.
