Alright, what do you guys think?
Background: Once upon a time, I grew up in a religious household. Every day, they beat into me "no sex before marriage" and "don't marry outside the church". This planted the seeds of my virgindom. Until one day, I decided I wasn't into religion anymore, and became agnostic. I did not have a fedora phase. Actually, a lot of girls wanted to fug, but because I was intensely religious, I rejected 2-3 opportunities. I'm 32 now. I keep reading about incels/R9Kers/betas etc, but I don't feel like I am a beta. When I tell people I'm a virgin, they find it incredible. So I have that going for me. I'd say I have sufficient, normal emotional-relational intelligence, despite having never scored.
Question: I feel a strong need for intimacy. It doesn't keep me up at night, but I find myself fantasizing about fucking and cuddling. Because I quit religion, I have zero real life friends. I decided I don't have much in common with them anymore, and they haven't reached out to me, so I'm incommunicado. I figure the best way to make friends is to not get extremely thirsty and hover around or smother people. As long as I keep my shit together, eventually the opportunity will come. Sound like a plan?
