Didn't think I would be posting about this.. But I guess I will anyways..
So I have been together with this girl for around 1 year now, who I truly love.
We are both in our early 20's..
I love the time I spend with her and I really think she's the one for me, however from time to time we suddenly get into a minor discussion and then afterwards just stop talking for like 30 minutes or longer..
Might not sound that bad, but it hurts and I can tell she hates it as well..
So I need some advice.. What can I do to prevent this? How can I deal with it, so none of us get's hurt or sad?
Thanks a lot!
If that's your biggest relationship issue than you're very lucky. If it bothers both of you than just have an open and honest discussion about these silences and come up with an alternative that you are both happy with. Easy. If you don't feel like talking to your gf than you could always try breaking the silence with a joke, even if it's super lame as long as it gets a giggle.

Who stops talking? I had the same thing with my ex and think it came mainly from her. One disagreement and she'd go silent on me for 10-20 minutes and wouldn't let me touch her

Cont. some silence isn't that bad, but after an agreement you can playfully kiss, touch or hug her to signal that it's okay.
