OK so somehow I smoothtalked a cutie on Tinder into going out with me next weekend. I've got a couple of problems though:
1. It's been 10 (yes, ten) years since I've been on a date. Besides the obvious things (grooming, hygiene, wear neat clothing, etc.) anything else I should keep in mind? I don't give many fucks these days so I won't be upset if it doesn't work out, but I want to at least give it a good shot.
2. She's started a text message conversation with me. I'd like to stop chatting via text messages since I'd rather just get to know her in person (and she's more likely to realise I'm not as funny normally as I was on Tinder before we get the chance to find out if we're compatible). She asked how my day was and I've been replying and asking her about hers, but I'm wondering if there's a good way to cut the conversation short without sounding cold.

"I prefer face to face conversations"
"Hey lets talk about that when we meet"
