Im 18 and have no idea what I want to do.
I'm in college and I'm about to start architecture.
The problem is becoming an architect us a lengthy process and I don't even know if I want to do it. Plus its a 5 year degree and Im starting now. And to become licensed you have to work another 4 years. If im goin to spend 9 years of my life i should just be a doc.
In all honesty I want open a business but I have no idea what to do, or how to start. I live in nyc and feel like I gave every resource at my fingertips but idk how to use them.

My advice is to pick the most flexible STEM major you can find, based on the curricula of various majors. For me, it was math, which let me jump easily to computer science. I could have easily moved to physics too.

But please tell me, are you particularly interested in architecture, or do you not really have any interests?

I'm not really interested in architecture but, I originally picked it because I like drawing and wanted a useful skill, not just a marketable skill but something that I can use throughout life.
Im interested in drawing, painting, reading, money, nature, any learning really. I also love running and have been trying to climb lately.
I'm interested in a lot of thimgs but I'm not a master in anything. A lot of people spent time perfecting skills in hs and I just perfected playing battlefield 3.

I might do this. Could you suggest a stem major that can help with business that isnt cs?
