How does one deal with really judgmental friends?
Life is decent, but I am constantly around a group of really judgmental people, and its getting to my head a bit. They criticize anything and everything, my music, my clothes. Its a cycle, one person takes a shot at me, I fire back, and then it turns into a giant roast fest with me on the receiving end, and then I'm, left feeling like a fifth wheel for the rest of the night. It happens often enough to where its starting to fuck with my head. I would get new friends, but I am going to be stuck with these people for awhile, unless I want to stay in my room and not go anywhere on the weekends.

If only it were so easy. I'm in the military, I live in the barracks. Which just so happen to be far as fuck away from everything, if I wanted to hang out with other people, id have an hour drive to look forward to.

2 options:
1.Tell them face to face how this is making you feel uncomfortable and if they care about you they will stop and friendship will go on, if they dont, they will reject you and thus will lead you to the second option.
2.Avoid them. Find cheering people, who make your life enjoyable thats the damn point about it.
If they are important to you, you will go option 1 -> option 2.
If you feel theyre not indispensable you will go option 2.
