Stay on top of assignments.
Talk to people.
Get involved in other shit like clubs.

that one was my second choice after UCF since they're an IC-CAE and have wonderful computer science groups.

My biggest piece of advice is not to get involved with unsavory individuals or drugs. Tampa is full of those kinds of people and it's very easy to fall down the rabbit hole and lose everything.

Nah I'm not really into drugs and I'm actually going to major in CS at USF. My cousin is going to UCF so I'll have family nearby anyways since I'm not from the U.S.
