That is my point, he owes his friend of 10+ years the respect of telling him that he needs help and do what he can for him, hence why I said before if he needs to have a break for awhile so he can get his shit together that's fine, but throwing him to the curb is being a dog.

You don't owe anyone shit just because you spent a decade hanging out with them, it's clear he doesn't respect you, so why give him the courtesy of telling him to get his shit together.
