How do you help a female coworker who overworks herself and won't take anyone's help? If I help her she gets mad, if I don't help her she still gets mad. The boss doesn't care about it and prefers her over everyone else.

Then you don't. Saving people is for superheroes in movies. In real life, you can only help those that want to be helped.

My mom is the same way. Unless you confront her with what you just said, only other option is to avoid her completely. No point in trying to move something that doesn't want to be moved
