I didn't lie I had the doctors note with me, but he said being an ex cop he knows how liars work and he said I was a piece of shit. At the end he apologized and it seemed forced. But he said he was going to get someone to investigate me to know if I lied or not. He sounds manipulate.

Honestly the only reason I didn't say anything back was I worked a double shift and was exhausted, I feel bad for not taking up for myself but I was too tired to care.

Only thing you did wrong was, answer "don't ever yell at me" which could be interpreted as a threat and is inappropriate for the lower in the hirarchy to demand. Also it makes it seem, like you had no arguments to counter his false claim, which is weak and also bad for you.

Better response would have been, "I was not lying, I can prove it and you should stop these accusations until you have proof for them." And keeping your cool
