I'm juggling 5 different projects at once. I'm starting to get stressed, but I want to portray that image of an A personality. I mean, I've already gotten this far. Except, it's not because of the projects that I'm stressed, it's something else.

>hired on as intern, promoted to specialist in the span of a month
>singled out by local political party to volunteer for public relations
>solely launched political website for 'get out the vote' during election time
>half way done political book to start getting name out there
>offering help to coworkers for event planning
>going to get voted in as councilor this Summer without trying
>half way saved for small house and car
>make websites for other consultants regularly
>write monthly political column
Except, all of this was done because of cocaine. I feel like I completely cheated. I'm getting cozy with the right sort of 'successful' people that'd come to mind when you think of politicians, CEOs, etc. I have a long ways to go, sure, but I feel like this isn't a sustainable way of doing it. But without it, I probably wouldn't be where I am, and I certainly wouldn't be able to make it through an master's degree without it.
I'm about to get start a certificate degree in public relations so that when I jump start my political career, become a career politician, I'll know what I'm doing - live broadcasting, radio interviews, newspaper writing, etc.
I just fear that this may be a skeleton in my closet come time when I get to the 'big guys' as it were.
Any plan of action /adv/?

At one time you will burn out, go to rehab and stay clean for a while before dabbling again, and it will go back and forth.

Say I do 'make' it, how would I hide it from the public? Going into a rehab isn't the sort of thing that's kept quiet, I mean I'd just go off the radar and people would start talking, unless I'm able to do it on my own or hire out-patient doctor, assuming I have enough money for that.
Just gotta cover all my bases - plans and whatnot. Worst comes to worst, I can use good ol' G.W. Jr. excuse and come clean, "i was young and stupid" sort of thing

Real talk though, almost all political advisors are druggies. I'm in academia, got training for a talk about drugs by this guy who trained my prime minister. He got rock hard talking about coke and heroin the entire time
