I had 70 year olds in my class. My friend group had a 30 year old art grad student in it and we were all -21 years old. He wasn't creepy he just didnt have peers his age in our college town and he was pretty cool.

I'm an older student currently attending university. If you have things planned out and have an end goal, I see nothing wrong with it. Most younger students don't know what the fuck they want in university and don't accomplish much so you shouldn't feel depressed over them. Just don't stress out over interacting with them much and focus on your studies. I learned the hard way that you cannot really be close friends with people significantly younger than you.

If you arent going for STEM university will do nothing for you. If its for personal interest and you can afford it have at it. Otherwise, if its for job training, there are government training programs subsidies and even companies that will pay to have you trained and educated.
