I tried so hard to restrain myself here. He was so obviously not interested in anything I had said. Plus I was ready to rip him a new one about it actually being a bit more than a squabble as I believe a burglary is... especially when these girls would bring back drugged up fuck bois when they were strung out and constantly stole from each other.

I'd argue that he's not in the right either. The fact that he didn't seem to want to intervene when I politely informed him that I was concered about how much the girls were damaging the place, inviting strung out drug nuts back and leaving the place wide open and unlocked 24/7 despite being asked to stop makes me think it's got a lot to do with his laziness. The more I looked into the contracts this evening I also found out he hasn't put my security deposit in a TDP so I'm going to claim compensation if he longs this out. His responses alone make me want to cave his face in.

OP you have been in a tough spot. Maybe you had some other psychological pressures too that added to this situation? I think the problem here arises in the fact that you could not control the girls and that kinda bothered you and irritated you. So when you approached the landlord ab it, you were expecting a tougher reaction to their deeds but seeing that the landlord didn't care you got irritated with him too. I understand the girls might be faulty and that the landlord should had done smth ab it but we just can't control everyone to act how we like to. Chill man, you moved out of that mess. But if you want to improve yourself you should learn to accept people the way they are. Just live with the flow of life. Don't worry mate.
